A Tuesday off school

Yesterday I got an email from Rowan and Aurelia's school saying there had been an outbreak of hand foot and mouth disease in Rowan's class, and that the class would be suspended for 3 days. So the little guy and I spent the day together, which was quite fun! I brought him to yoga with me and he watched Totoro and drew while I did my class. Later I brought him to Devi's corner for my regular fruit and roti breakfast. He is so great to hang out with - just pleasant, fun, laughing and smiling. I was happy not to miss yoga. We started head stands last class and I really enjoy doing them. I feel as though I am making some progress in the class - I can touch my toes without difficulty now, and downward dog is challenging in a fun, self competitive way - not just painful. 

After we picked Aurelia up, we came back to the flat briefly to let Glory in, and then set off to the Mega Mall. What a terrible place… there is never enough parking and its always a mad competition. Everyone ends up parking illegally all over the place, which I kind of like. Bought a memory foam mattress pad that I am lying on now - it is dreamy! I love these things and can't wait till Marlene feels it. 

Back at home, Glory had finished cleaning the house and was busy cooking dinner - thank you Glory! The kids and I met up with Finley and Miriam and played outside before eventually going for a swim. Finley stayed over for dinner and then the kids drew and made things until it was time for a quick video and then bed. What a great day - just miss my honey….
